Banarasi fabric has set a new trend for designer clothing. The fabric itself is so rich that it can be worn as it is. This fabric used in the blouse is a rare multi-color combination. I wanted a more party look so highlighted the design with multicolor zardosi work in stone. It can be worn on any plain saree in pattu, georgette or crepe. ReplyDeleteI'm attending an Indian wedding in a couple of weeks and i'm looking to just make a simple top like this. I've been doing a little research on fabrics and really love banarasi but have not been able to find anything great like this in London... where do you buy your fabrics from?
